1. Plaza de Armas & Historic Center

2. San Blas & Scenic Ascent

We ascend through the artistic San Blas neighborhood, gradually leaving the city behind as panoramic views open up.

3. Inca Trail Entrance – Sacsayhuamán Area

We enter ancient sections of the Qhapaq Ñan within the archaeological surroundings of Sacsayhuamán.

4. Temple of the Monkeys

Rock formations carved with howler monkeys and serpents, symbols of the jungle world in Andean cosmology.
We also observe ceremonial spaces dedicated to Pachamama (Mother Earth).

5. Temple of the Moon (Highlight)

The mystical Temple of the Moon is carved into limestone rock and features:

• Sacred caves
• Ceremonial stone altars
• Animal carvings
• A solar alignment point (Inca sun clock)

This was likely a ceremonial and initiation site connected to feminine lunar energy.

6. Cristo Blanco Viewpoint

We finish at Cristo Blanco, the best panoramic viewpoint over Cusco, with views of the massive megalithic walls of Sacsayhuamán.

7. Return via Original Inca Trail

We descend along original Inca pathways and return to the Plaza de Armas.
