  • Zoomorphic Sculptures: At the site, you will find carvings of zoomorphic figures in high relief, such as birds, felines, and snakes, which are considered sacred.
  • Qhapaq Ñan: This royal road, known as the Inca road network, spanned the entire Tahuantinsuyo and passed through countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina.
  • Kusilluchayoc Temple: Also known as the Temple of the Monkeys. Here, you can see monkeys decapitated by idol destroyers. Although only their bodies remain, they are still visible. It is believed that this place was used to worship this animal from the jungle.

What to see at the Temple of the Monkeys?

  • Sacred stone: Also known as the heart of Pachamama, many people leave offerings on this stone, such as flowers, coca leaves, and other items.
  • Inca architecture: Like other Inca remains, this place showcases the impressive Inca culture through its constructions, without exception.
